Teacher Appreciation Lunch
The teachers and staff loved the boxed lunch welcoming them back into school.
Parent donations raised $450, which covered almost half the expenses for the Teacher's Appreciation Lunch! Thank you to all those who donated!

Room Parent Orientation and Kick-Off Meeting
The Room Parent role will be mostly virtual this year, but so important to help our students stay connected to their classes. We are hoping to have at least one-two room parents per cohort, for best communication. Room parent coordinator meetings have been scheduled for this week! You can pick from one of two meetings (9/23 at 10 AM or 9/24 at 7 PM). No commitment necessary to attend orientation/ kick-off meetings Want to attend/ just listen in? The PTO is filled with gratitude toward Kaylene Camara for donating her time, willingness and materials to making so many beautiful masks for our sale! A huge thank you to Michelle C., our Spirit Committee, for organizing the sales! The Spirit Wear is just adorable!
First PTO Meeting of the year!
The first Heights PTO meeting of this year is on Thursday, October 8th, at 7:00 PM. We hope to see you via Zoom at our (new) monthly PTO meetings. Stay connected to our school and what’s going on. Hear directly from our new principal, Dr. Dion. Ask your questions and get them answered!
Teacher stipend distribution
Every year, the PTO provides a stipend of $250 per full time teacher, $125 per part time teacher. This year, due to reduced PTO funds, we are providing 50% now, 50% in January. We have started distributing the first installment and hope to raise enough money in time for January.
