PTO Book Fair - Thank YOU!





The Heights PTO Book Fair was a huge success! It was just wonderful seeing the little ones so excited to have their new books! Thank you to all the parents who bought books from the teachers' wish list as well.

A huge THANK YOU! to Melissa for organizing and running the Book Fair for yet another year! Another shout out to all the parent volunteers that took the time out to help. We could never pull off our events without our parent volunteers!

The profits from our sales will support the Heights PTO in our mission to provide engaging and well-rounded environment of learning for our students such as educational programming, social events etc.

Heights Spirit Wear - ALL NEW!




We are so excited that the all new Heights Spirit Wear was such a huge success! We almost sold out our initial inventory! A huge thank you to our Spirit Committee Michelle and Rebecca!

Long sleeved shirts and sweatshirts coming this Fall! Will be available for purchase during the pizza parties, and other events.

Have you become a Heights PTO Member yet?

The membership form that came in your child's backpack sitting on a forgotten pile on your dining table? Just a reminder to send it in, or become a member online within minutes! Your membership dollars will support educational programs, equipment, and events.  All members of the PTO will receive a school directory (a listing of all Heights families, class lists, and Heights phone and email information).   As a member, you will have the right to vote on PTO initiatives and in elections. Becoming a member does NOT require you to attend meetings!

Reminder to send in your Directory Inclusion form and your child's artwork!

This is the last week to send in your Directory Inclusion form, and your child's artwork for inclusion in the Directory.

Heights Library:





Thanks to the generosity of our parents toward the PTO library fund, the Heights library was able to purchase 40 new books!


Wish to support the library more throughout the year? Wish to work with the kids?

The Heights Library is in need of volunteers to come in once a week from 9:30-10:30.

Responsibilities include checking books in, shelving books, organizing, and occasional special projects. If you’re interested, please fill out this form.

First PTO meeting of the year! Please mark your calendars for the first PTO meeting of the year! Monday October 7th at 7:00 PM. Dr. Greer, SPS Superintendent of Schools, will be in attendance! Raffles, FREE BABYSITTING, and more!!  Mark your calendars! Room Parents Needed!

Heights PTO Family Photo Day:

The Heights Elementary PTO Family Photo Day is scheduled for October 20th!

Get your family pictures done by local professional photographer Kenneth Berman, AND support the Heights PTO at the same time


Box Tops are Back!

Save your Box Tops!

Heights will continue to participate in the Box Tops For Education Program this year.  It’s a great opportunity to earn money for our school by clipping box tops or scanning your receipts to the Box Top For Education app.  Our first collection day will be Tuesday, Oct 29th during school lunch periods.


Mainspring

The Heights PTO is proud to continue our tradition this year of providing packed lunches to a local homeless shelter. This program starts in October, more details to come soon!
