Student Art Supply List
Suggested Student Art Supplies List from our art teacher, Mrs. Mellman:
Pencil, eraser, Pencil sharpener, scissors, markers, crayons, colored pencils, black permanent markers, liquid glue, watercolors, brushes, craypas (oil pastels), cup for water, white drawing paper 9x12, assorted construction paper 9x12

Hybrid Students should bring all of the above supplies to school on the days they have art class (except paper). Siblings can share supplies, but will need to hand off so that each student can bring supplies with them to in person art class. All supplies should be labeled with the student's name.
Remote Students will use these supplies at home to complete assignments. Siblings may share supplies.

Remote and Remote Learning Academy Survey

Hybrid Learning, Remote Learning and Remote Learning Academy Survey
Points to note:
The difference between Remote and Remote Learning Academy is significant.
Enrolling in Hybrid Model means your child will be placed in a cohort that meets in-person two days a week and remotely for the rest of the week.
Enrolling as a Remote Academy student means your child will have a dedicated remote teacher. All of the students in the class will be remote learners.
Students may be assigned to a class with students from Cottage, East, and/or Heights. This is a commitment for the first semester of the school year.
Enrolling as a Remote Student means your child will be enrolled in a class led by a teacher who is teaching students in both Hybrid and Remote simultaneously.
Students in this class are a combination Hybrid and Remote learners. Families will have the option of switching from Remote to Hybrid.
Families in the Hybrid Model will also have the option of moving into Remote, but will not be enrolled in the Remote Academy.

The role will be mostly virtual this year, but so important to help our students stay connected to their classes. Monthly PTO Meetings (New!) We hope to see you via Zoom at our (new) monthly PTO meetings. Stay connected to our school and what’s going on. Hear directly from our new principal, Dr. Dion. Ask your questions and get them answered! Heights PTO calendar to be released soon! First PTO meeting is on Thursday, October 8th, at 7:00 PM. All PTO meetings this year will be held via Zoom.
