Heights PTO Membership and other news you can use!
Heights PTO Membership
We encourage all Heights families to support our mission by becoming PTO members.
Your membership dollars directly support the Heights Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) efforts to build a strong community of Heights Elementary parents, teachers, and students. As a registered non-profit staffed by volunteers, the PTO provides educational programming for each grade level, enhances our school's physical surroundings (funding classroom supplies, library books, playground equipment, the Heights garden, music equipment, and more), and hosts school-wide spirit events (pizza parties, picnics, movie nights, and more).
First PTO meeting of the year!
Please mark your calendars for the first PTO meeting of the year, Monday October 7th at 7:00 PM. We offer FREE BABYSITTING for the duration of the meeting!
Heights Display My Art Fundraiser
Please view the flyer for information regarding Mrs. Mellman's Display My Art fundraiser.
Thanks to the generosity of our parents toward the PTO library fund, the Heights library was able to purchase 40 new books!
Wish to support the library more throughout the year? Wish to work with the kids?
The Heights Library is in need of volunteers to come in once a week from 9:30-10:30.
Responsibilities include checking books in, shelving books, organizing, and occasional special projects. If you’re interested, please fill out this form.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Staff Meeting Contribution Another way we support our teachers is to provide them with refreshments during their staff meetings. Each grade gets chances through the year!

Heights will continue to participate in the Box Tops For Education Program this year. It’s a great opportunity to earn money for our school by clipping box tops or scanning your receipts to the Box Top For Education app. Our first collection day will be Tuesday, Oct 29th during school lunch periods.
