Heights PTO Membership
All your membership dues goes back to your children! The PTO raises funds to: Provide educational programming at all grade levelsEnhance our school's physical surroundings (funding classroom supplies, playground equipment, the Heights garden, music equipment, and more),Build community by hosting spirit events (pizza parties, picnics, movie nights, and more). Sign up by returning the physical form that will come home in your child's backpack this week (pay via cash or check), or pay by credit card or Paypal and become a member online within minutes!
Heights Open House Dates
The Open House provides parents an opportunity to visit your child's classroom.
The scheduled dates are as follows:
Wednesday, September 18th, 2019: Grades K-2Thursday, September 19th, 2019: Grades 3-5 The open house format is NEW this year! Parents have the opportunity to attend the Open House with their children, and will spend their time in the classrooms.
Heights PTO Book Fair
The Heights PTO Book Fair will be open before and after the Open House! So make sure to come early to get your child's wish list books! This year we will also have Heights Gear for sale - an introductory price just for the Open House only!

Room Parents
Most of the room parent slots have fast filled up. There is still an opportunity for parents of the below classrooms to get involved, and be a liaison between the PTO and all the parents of your child's classmates!

Welcome Back to School Picnic on the Playground!
One of the goals of the Heights PTO is building the Heights community. This year we are hosting a Welcome Back to School Picnic on the Playground! Our aim is that parents of all grades, new and old, get together to have a fun informal get together to celebrate the beginning of another school year!
Date: Friday, September 13th. Time: 6:30 P.M. Bring your own picnic dinner, meet the parents of your child's old and new friends! See your child in their element on the playground!
A Kona ice truck will be on site, so bring cash!
(This is after school hours so the building will be closed - no bathrooms will be available)
Heights PTO Directory
Heights PTO Directory Inclusion Form: The 2019-2020 Heights School Directory is a great tool to communicate with other parents, arrange playdates, and coordinate birthday parties! It will be distributed to all PTO members, and will include An individual listing for each student that may include parent/ guardians’ names and contact info.A list of all students in each teacher’s class.Your childrens’ artwork, if submitted! The Heights PTO Directory inclusion form should have been in your child's backpacks last week. Also available online.
Get Involved!
There are many ways to get involved with the Heights PTO!
Are you a leader or are you great at following tasks? Do you have 8 hours this year to commit, or do you have 8 hours a week? Do you want to be in school all the time, or simply help remotely and behind the scenes?
Or, do you simply want to be added to our volunteer list, to know all upcoming opportunities and help out as needed?
We have opportunities for all of you!
Read through our committees list, and let us know what piques your interest! Attendance at PTO meetings is NOT mandatory for being involved in the PTO!
