On 2/3/2020, Jen Weiner and Susy Gallor kicked off our new speaker series: Sharon Speaks! with a timely and lively discussion on Navigating Gender in 2020. A huge thank you to Jen Weiner and Susy Gallor for donating their time to speak to the community on this very important topic. Thank you to all the parents who attended and participated in the discussion, it was such a great group!! Congratulations: Battle of the Brains winners!

What was Mark Twain's real name? If you are stumped, read on to know who knew the correct answer: Sharon High School National Honor Society students organizes and hosts a Battle of the Brains tournament for 5th grade students across Heights, East and Cottage Elementary Schools every year. This tournament provides the opportunity for elementary school students to showcase their knowledge through an enjoyable competition with their peers. This year, Heights students won for the second year in a row! Congratulations to the Heights Fifth Graders: Neil D., Will W., Tessa L., Shriya B., Jakob L., Anthony X., Alex K., Pranav K., and Alex N. for winning the tournament, including knowing the real name of Mark Twain: Samuel Clemens! We are so proud of you!
